Rix.GG pauses its involvement in Rocket League

Rix.GG, an inclusive UK and European focused esports organisation, announces the release of its Rocket League roster.

Rix.GG is committed to finding its place in the Rocket League ecosystem but will not be looking for a new roster for the time being.

The current team remains under contract but are free to explore other opportunities ahead of the next RLCS split.

We would like to thank the Rocket League team for the recent results in the RLCS Winter Split reaching 13-16th RLCS 2021-22 Winter: EU Regional Event 3 – Copa de Rocket League, 3-5th at RLCS 2021-22 Winter: EU Regional Event 3 – Closed Qualifier, and 9-11th RLCS 2021-22 Winter: EU Regional Event 2 – Closed Qualifier.

Zack Chandler, Head of Esports, said: “Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to reach the goals we set at the start of our journey in Rocket League, so for the time being we will be taking a step back to reevaluate our game plan and look to re-enter in the future. It’s been a pleasure working with the team and getting to know them personally, and I’ll be making it an absolute priority to find them new teams to represent.”

Jay Batzofin, Rocket League Manager, said: “It’s sad to say goodbye to such a strong team of talented players. I haven’t been their manager long but the time I did get to spend with the team was incredible. Each of them has potential to win big and I hope that they continue their journey and that we may meet again in the near future.”
