Rix.GG, a top UK esports organisation, announces a new coach for Rocket League team, James “JG7” Guarino.
James “JG7” Guarino is an American Rocket League coach who found success with Kansas City Pioneers and cemented them as a Top 8 team in North America. During his time at Kansas City Pioneers they reached heights of the grand finalist in RLCS NA Fall Split Regional Event 3, hitting top 4 in Fall Regional Event 2, and top 8 RLCS NA Fall Major. While at Rix.GG, James “JG7” Guarino hopes to find success by blending a bit of the North American Rocket League playstyle with the mechanical flair of the current team.
With this announcement Rix.GG will be allowing Kwok-Po “Lyaneii” Chu to explore other coaching opportunities. Everyone at Rix.GG would like to thank Lyaneii for his dedicated service to our organisation and for helping the roster get to where they are today.
Jamie Lewis, founder, said: “We are always striving to make positive changes for our players, and we can’t wait to see how James lines us up in the Grid. Lyaneii has been a respected coach and valuable member of our community – I wish him all the best in his future.”
Ibrahim Taylor, Rocket League Manager, said: “JG7 has created a great amount of success for himself with KCP in the last few months and having him on board is another big step for us. I feel like the prospect of taking the best elements from EU and NA Rocket League will allow us to continue to grow into a dominant force in Rocket League. I would like to end by thanking Lyan for his efforts to us and the team and wish him all the success going forward.
